What is polishing? repair? sealing?

POLISHING with the correct chemicals for the particular type of stone will result in a smooth and glossy reflection, just like the original.

HONING is the treatment to use when you want your stone work to have a matte finish. Some marbles and granite suit the 'honed' look.

REPAIR. Some stones are prone to developing scratches, chips or cracks. Depending on the severity of the damage, most can be rectified.

SEALING is important to help protect the stone from staining. It also makes it easier to keep clean.
